Dan Quinn Should be Fired

FYI, I am a Commanders fan. Here are two reasons DQ should be CANNED.
This isn't something I am happy writing about. It is also a bit hyperbolic. We just went to the NFC Championships last year. Granted, we got absolutely obliterated by the Eagles...but we made it nonetheless.

But Dan has made some pretty big mistakes this year:
He kept JD5 in the game in a game where the team was losing by 31 points with seven minutes left.
I'm in a group chat with 9 other diehard bozos and my phone was lighting up about how Jayden Daniels should be taken out of the game. This was before the fourth quarter had started. You know the saying, nothing good happens after 2AM? Well this was fucking 2AM. Our Defense couldn't stop their offense if their lives depended on it and seemingly no reciever could get open on ANY play.
Jayden Daniels arm looked like Harry Potter after falling from his broom trying to catch the golden snitch.

We are not professional analysts were just some stupid fans. Everyone knew he shouldn't be in the game. Guess who didnt? Dan Quinn.
Do you know how long we waited for someone like JD to come along? In my eyes he's like the second coming of our lord and savior Jesus Christ (not religious). He's our fucking franchise QB and with having a franchise QB, comes a lot of responsiblity. AKA keeping him ALIVE.
Joe Whitt Jr. is still coaching for the team.

I mean COME ON. The Commanders have not been able to stop anyone. The last game we have won has been over a month ago, on October 5th. The defense stayed relatively healthy, while being put in a shitty scheme, no drive to actually make tackles, and getting dusted in the secondary.
You can try and blame Adam Peters, and sure we don't have the players it takes to keep up. But Joe Whitt Jr. cant even hide, in any way, how shitty this defensive line up is. After this last game against the Lions (borderline unwatchable game as a fan), he lost his play calling abilities, after coming down from the coaches booth to the sideline.
Well...Dan Quinn is sending him back up to the booth! Joe Whitt Jr. is basically being payed to be a season ticket holder because Dan Quinn took away his title and his play calling abilities. So what's he doing up there? Who cares. Should he be anywhere near the game field? Absolutely not.
Dan is proving he can't make the hard decisions and can't cut the weakest link. What he doesn't completely realize is that weakest link is slowly wrapping around his neck. He can no longer blame the defensive coordinator for this shitty play. It will solely be on him. Who is he to blame when he's calling plays? He can only point the finger on himself.
I don't think he'll ultimately be fired. The players love him and I'm not sure Josh Harris wants to fire his head coach after his second year. He does, have to attract the next one to come about.
I personally say we demote Dan Quinn to defensive coordinator and try our hand at Kliff Kingsbury. If he does well Kliff gets what he desires, another shot at a head coach position. And Jayden gets continuity in the same scheme.
If he does poorly, well, we gave him a shot. Time to fire and hire.
